Phoebe Eustance is a researcher and artist working in London. She completed an MA in Research Architecture at Goldsmiths with her thesis project ‘A Manual for Listening to Quiet’ – an inquiry into the condition of quiet through power. Since then, her work continues to draw on the complex relations of closeness: proximity, as a spatial measure used to organise and negotiate the way we live together; and intimacy, as a feeling or emotional register traversing realms of the personal, the political, and the cultural.
